How To Create A WordPress Blog
Now, let’s get started.
The mistake I see most beginners make whenever they want to start a blog is choosing the wrong blogging platform.
Either because they don’t see anybody to put them through or whatever I don’t know.
But, am happy for you that you are here at this moment and the mistake other people made, you will not make the same mistake, I sure you for that.
Before I continue, I want to show you where these guys are making the mistake so you can avoid them,
I want to show you the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org because 70% of people that go into blogging don’t know the difference.
you can know the right blogging platform to go with because those platforms are two different things, so you will not go with the wrong one.
WordPress.org: This is the main WordPress platform that you might have heard of before now,
that has all the great features. WordPress.org is 100% free for everybody to use.
All you just need is to get a domain name and a good web hosting account and you are good to go.
And that is why it is referred to as self-hosted WordPress.
While wordpress.com: This is a hosting service that was created by the co-founder of WordPress.
So, because of this beginners are confused between wordpress.org and wordpress.com in the end leading them to choose the wrong platform.
Now, I hope you now understand the difference now?
In this guide, we are going to use wordpress.org, that’s self-hosted not wordpress.com.
All I want from you is your undivided attention so I can help you set up your WordPress blog.
in this guide, the hosting provider we are going to use is Namecheap, because with Namecheap you can set up your blog within 30-45 minutes and Namecheap is one of the best web hosting providers in the world.

If you don’t know, a domain name is what people type into their browser to get to your website,
it’s called a website’s address, just like www.promakingmoney.com or www.facebook.com, you get it now.
While web hosting is where your website files live for as long as the website lasts.
And every website you see on the internet has a web hosting account with one hosting provider.
Now let’s go ahead with purchasing the domain name and host with Namecheap, and make sure you follow the steps here.
